What is a process template?

A process template is when you define specific tasks you want to happen in your case management system. For example, one process you may have is a “Deposition notice” process. Your process may include creating a calendar entry, adding a note, editing custom fields, renaming and uploading documents, generating task lists, etc.

You’ll have a different process templates for different automations you want to run. For example, a “Deposition notice” process will be different from a “Medical records” process, which will be different from a “Hearing notice” process. You can define and save these processes as templates.

What is an automation?

An automation is when you ask Legal Ninja to complete a specific process template. For example, create your “Deposition notice” process template. When you get a deposition notice, you will upload the notice to Legal Ninja, select “Deposition notice” process and the client matter, then click Submit. Legal Ninja will automatically do all the steps in your defined process.

You can have as many tasks as you want per process. Every time you click submit it counts as one automation.

What areas of law is this for?

This is for all areas of law. Any law firm can easily create a process template and submit an automation for their law firm.

Is this a case management system?

No, Legal Ninja integrates with your existing case management system. We currently only integrate with Clio and Merus. Please contact us as contact@legalninja.ai, if you have an integration you would like us to add.
